Check-in took too long!!! The bar closed unexpectedly without signage and restaurant access was awkward!!! Improve internal communication regarding availability and fix the noisy air conditioning units for a more comfortable stay!!!

I loved our lovely top-floor studio, which felt super spacious and private, especially with the sweet surprise of a birthday cake and fizz at breakfast. The spa had a great selection of massages and a lovely indoor pool that I really enjoyed. The only hiccup was that the bathroom layout felt a bit cramped, but everything else was just perfect! 🎉

We had a wonderful stay! The spa and pool area was a fantastic relaxation spot, and the breakfast had such nice variations. Plus, the cocktails at the bar were an absolute highlight! We would definitely return.

The indoor pool and sauna were absolute highlights, providing the perfect relaxation after busy days exploring. My stay at Pestana was pleasant. The staff provided efficient assistance in setting up my presentation equipment, and the Deluxe Double Room was spacious with a comfortable bed. I particularly appreciated the extensive breakfast spread, which included freshly baked pastries and a variety of healthy options. pestana is a nice hotel in an iconic building. my deluxe double room was a good size and the indoor pool and sauna in the basement were perfect for relaxing. the hotel is close to the ‘pijp’ neighborhood, which has a great vibe. also, the staff were super friendly and really helpful, making my stay even better.

Navigating from the room to the main building via the street isn't the most convenient, especially when headed to the spa in a robe. The spa itself left much to be desired. it felt cramped, with towels strewn about and only a few loungers provided. The pool's chilliness doesn't help either, nor does the steam room's lack of steam. Pricing seemed exorbitant for the massage services, which lacked the ambiance expected at a luxury hotel. Expecting a serene experience near the gym was unrealistic due to the noise from workouts. Additionally, the distance from the bustling heart of the city means planning trips takes longer than expected, with a 25-minute walk or a quick trek to the metro station across the river.
